Guide for shopping in auto shows

There are a number of Auto Shows organized every year,  this includes updates, new releases, future cars, future techs, and all of the automobile industry. Major big dealers, auto manufacturers, come in these shows and release their new models and open them for sale. If you are looking to make a purchase, then there is a huge possibility that you will get all your answers in these Auto Shows.

You will get to see new models, best ones, and can buy according to your budget.

The Chicago Auto Show is the largest in the USA and will take place from Feb 13th to 21st. The New York International Auto Show will be from Aug 21st to 29th. And dozens of other shows from now to the end of the year are already scheduled all over the country from Honolulu to Atlanta.

It is fun to wander in an Auto show, gazing at Million dollar supercars, concept vehicles, and comparing a vast number of cars. It’s much better of your time than crossing towns to dealers finding your perfect vehicle.

If you already have an idea about what you’re going to buy, then use the show to have a closer look and check the competition, and if you don’t have any idea, use it to put your attention on what’s new. Here are some tips.

1) Path planning

Plan your route, most of the auto shows have mobile apps to help you with the map, dhow floors, timing, exhibits, and products on display. Plan your route accordingly. Pay attention to the makers you’re interested in and the ones you haven’t seen yet.

2) Specialists opinion

Automakers hire and train the experts and bring them on to the show to make people aware of the vehicle. Talk to them and clear your questions regarding cars, their competitions, and other vehicles on board. Don’t hesitate to talk to them.

3) Avoid Crowd

The openings are mainly on weekends, try not to make a weekend plan, you’ll get squished in masses, or preferably go as early as possible. It’s a waste if you don’t get the information you’re looking for.

4) Test Drive

Some auto shows allow indoor or outdoor test drives like the Chicago auto show. The way to know about a vehicle is by taking it for a spin yourself. Only some of the shows allow test-drive, ask for the test drive, it will help you to decide your comfortability with the car.

5) Debrief

Prepare a list of all the carmakers you like and check their selective products, check their pros and cons, and shortlist according to your preferences.

6) Get Manual

Even if you cannot get a test-drive, you can check it through the stationary paces, seats, which suits best for your family size, look at dials, buttons, cargo volume, upper body, sun shield, etc. Prepare a record, take photos, and arrange them according to your choice. Check the navigation system, security systems, and other crucial safety features.
